Therapeutic Modalities

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a gentle, focused therapeutic approach that works with the subconscious mind to access deeper patterns, beliefs, and memories. In trauma-informed hypnotherapy, you remain aware and in control while entering a relaxed, focused state that allows the mind and body to process experiences differently. This approach can be helpful for shifting core beliefs, healing trauma, and creating lasting change when traditional talk therapy alone is not enough.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a powerful, brain-body based trauma therapy that helps access and process experiences stored in the deeper parts of the brain and nervous system. By identifying specific eye positions connected to emotional activation, Brainspotting allows the brain to naturally process trauma, stress, and overwhelming experiences. This approach can help reduce emotional distress, release stored trauma in the body, and support deeper healing beyond traditional cognitive therapy.

SomEx

Somatic Experiencing is a body-centered approach to trauma therapy that focuses on how experiences are held in the nervous system. Rather than only talking about past events, somatic therapy helps clients notice sensations in the body and gently release stored survival responses. This process supports nervous system regulation, helping clients move out of fight, flight, or freeze states and experience greater safety, grounding, and resilience.

Parts Work

Parts work is a therapeutic approach that helps you understand the different “parts” of yourself that developed to cope with life experiences. Some parts may hold pain, fear, or shame, while others work hard to protect you. Through parts work, therapy helps you develop curiosity and compassion toward these internal parts, allowing healing, integration, and a stronger connection to your core self.

Sandtray

Sand tray therapy is an experiential and creative approach that allows clients to explore emotions and experiences using a tray of sand and miniature figures. This process can help express feelings and memories that may be difficult to put into words. Sand tray therapy is often used in trauma therapy and attachment work, allowing the mind and body to process experiences symbolically while creating a sense of safety and insight.
